Gilbert Fields joined the Liberty Staff as Pastor of Community Outreach in June, 2008.  He is a graduate of Computer Learning Center in Springfield, Virginia and Luther Rice Seminary  in Lithonia, Georgia.  Gilbert was licensed and ordained into the ministry in August 1992, and he has served as Associate Pastor for churches in Decatur, Rome and Jonesboro, Georgia, as well as West Palm Beach, Florida. 

Gilbert is married to the former Shawnn Denise Peterkin of Greensboro, North Carolina, and they have two children, Jonathan and Courtney.
