Missions on the Move
Do you have an interest in service opportunities? We have a place for you to participate, or as you have a call for ministry, we would be encouraged to assist or design a mission activity for you.
We desire to provide opportunity with a comprehensive Acts 1:8 mission strategy. We wish for you to experience new and supportive personal relationships with people from all walks of life through missions. We want to help you use your personal gifts and resources to make a difference in the Kingdom.
Come and make a child smile. The children of Little Angels Christian Preschool and Childcare on Mt. Zion Road in Jonesboro expectantly anticipate the arrival of Liberty Baptist Church for their annual VBS. Through their director, Dr. Morelake McDonnell, the Short-Term Mission Team is able to encourage the children with a program of teaching, recreation, crafts, and music. For approximately 2 hours you can hug and play with a child who could use your companionship.

You can serve in Biloxi where your Short-Term Mission Teams have been working to assist victims of Hurricane Katrina with minor home repairs and construction projects. Projects range from roof repairs and installing insulation or drywall to painting and debris removal. A task is assigned to each person according to their physical abilities. Come see the smiling, grateful faces of those who see their needs being met through the Men’s Ministry Short-Term Missions Teams.

Come see the beautiful Pocono Mountains of eastern Pennsylvania and participate in ministry to the children and to the community. Anyone can help the Short-Term Mission Team with cleaning up a local park and painting a neglected building. There is a great opportunity to encourage the children and interact with their parents as we teach them about the Bible and support the new church plant communities in Hazleton and Scranton.
You are needed to fill an empty spot in the hearts of Ukrainian believers. If you will go, you will be exposed to the great harvest God is sending to Ukraine and be used to reach the lost and hurting villagers who are ready and receptive. You will be immersed in Ukrainian culture—beautiful customs, great food, loving hospitality, and traditional Ukrainian worship and be given an opportunity to transform ministry into long-term relationships. In Ukraine there is tremendous opportunity. You and your family can change the lives of a people who not only need assistance to meet the opportunity, but have asked for assistance to build their lives and their country for Christ. You can do it! Come be a part of interactive missions.
